Come down, cheer them on, clap loudly and help us create an amazing atmosphere for our athletes! 📣👏 Your support means so much to our kids!

💙 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! 💙

Today we celebrate all the incredible gymnastics dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures who cheer from the sidelines, drive to training, help with hair buns, remember competition schedules, carry gym bags and give the biggest hugs after a tough routine! 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️

Thank you for being the biggest supporters, loudest cheerleaders and always believing in our athletes — even when the skills get a little scary! 🥰

We hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day filled with love, laughter and maybe even a well-deserved day off from the gym! 😂💙

🌭 **SCGA COMMUNITY BBQ – WE’D LOVE YOUR HELP!** 🤸‍♀️

On Sunday, 13 September, we’re bringing our SCGA community together for a fundraising BBQ during our SCGA In-house Invitational Grand Prix competition, with all proceeds going towards re-springing our gymnastics floor!

Every dollar raised will help us improve the training environment for our athletes. 💛

⏰ Session 1: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
⏰ Session 2: 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

We’re looking for families and members who may be able to volunteer some time on the day or contribute a donation towards the BBQ.

🌭 Sausages & bread
🥤 Drinks & water
🍅 Sauces & condiments
🧻 Napkins & BBQ supplies
🍪 Biscuits, cakes, chips & other items to sell
💛 Or a contribution towards purchasing supplies

Whether you can volunteer, donate an item, or simply come along and support the BBQ on the day, every contribution helps!

If you’d like to get involved, please contact the SCGA team and let us know what you can help with and/or which session you’re available for.

As we approach the end of term, we have accumulated quite a large amount of lost property that we are unfortunately unable to keep due to limited storage space.

If you believe your child may have left any belongings at the gym, please take the time to check our lost property and collect any items before the end of term.

Any unclaimed items remaining after this time will need to be removed or donated.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance in helping us clear the space!

💡 DID YOU KNOW? 💡

The GYMNSW MAG State Development Squad program provides selected athletes with the opportunity to take part in specialised training sessions, helping them develop their skills, gain valuable experience and work towards their future gymnastics goals. 🤸‍♂️

Our Level 5 athlete, Tarzan, who was selected for the MAG State Development Squad, attended a specialised training session over the weekend, working alongside other talented athletes and learning from experienced coaches.

What an amazing opportunity! We can’t wait to see where your hard work takes you, Tarzan! 💪⭐️
