What a fantastic day at Rosewater Bowling & Social Club.

As President, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who helped make our Wine Tasting Day meal such a great success.

A special thank you to Sue Maggs and her assistant, Beatle, for putting on a wonderful meal.

🥂 Thank you to our Wine Ladies, Terrie and Kerry, for their excellent work serving and presenting the wines.

MAGG'S KITCHEN: THE NOSE-TO-TAIL SPECIAL 🐑🐖
Another new venture from Sue, Chef Extraordinaire.

One sheep's head (still watching). One pig's arse (blushing). And a slab of liver so fresh Sue's already halfway through it. Nothing wasted, nothing explained, nothing refrigerated longer than strictly necessary.

THE RECIPE: Boil the head until it forgives you. Roast the arse until it blushes. Fry the liver in butter and eat half of it standing at the bench, as Sue intended. Serve on the good platter with a lemon for dignity.

Bookings essential. BYO strong stomach.
The head watches you eat. That's part of the experience.

MAGG'S KITCHEN: THE TUNA MORNAY SPECIAL 🐟
Another new venture from Sue, Chef Extraordinaire.

Freshly caught, absolutely NOT out of a tin (how dare you). Wrestled ashore by Sue herself and smothered in a cheese sauce so rich it needs its own accountant.

THE RECIPE: Wrestle 1 whole fresh tuna to the ground (not tinned). Melt into a cheese sauce, fold through macaroni, top with breadcrumbs, bake at 180C till golden. Serve with unearned confidence.

Bookings essential. Bring a bib.
No tins were harmed. (Three were emotionally neglected.)
