🚨 ROUND 5 POSTPONED 🚨

Following significant rainfall across the region, NSWRL Newcastle & Maitland have postponed Round 5.

❌ No matches will be played this weekend.

📅 Round 5 will now be played on Sunday 5 July.

While we're disappointed not to see our Eagles take the field, player safety and field conditions come first.

Enjoy the weekend, stay safe, and we'll see everyone back around the grounds soon. 🦅💚

Please note the U7 fixture at Swansea has already been washed out due to field closures. We are continuing to monitor other games closely for any further washouts or changes.

Coaches may choose to make alternative training arrangements and will contact teams directly if this is the case.

Unfortunately, due to the condition of the fields, all Windale JRLFC training is cancelled today.

Player safety always comes first, and the grounds remain unsuitable for training.

We will provide further updates regarding upcoming training sessions as information becomes available.

🏉🦅 FOOTY IS ON TONIGHT! 🦅🏉

Despite the weather, our home games are going ahead under lights at Hunter Barnett Ovals tonight! 💚🖤🤍

A reminder that we are still looking for a few helpers in the canteen. If you can lend a hand, please make yourself known to a committee member when you arrive.

🚫 Parents and spectators are reminded to remain behind the perimeter fence at all times. Access to the playing fields is restricted to players, coaches, trainers, match officials and authorised volunteers only.

🚭 Smoking and va**ng are only permitted in the car park areas and are not permitted around the fields, spectator areas or club facilities.

See you all tonight and let’s get behind our Eagles! 💪🔥

One of the great things about our game is seeing clubs come together to support opportunities for young players. It doesn’t matter whether you’re wearing green, red or white — when we work together, everyone benefits. 💚🤍🖤❤️🤍

Due to wet weather, training scheduled for Tuesday 19th May 2026 has been cancelled.

Fields will be assessed by the Ovals Board prior to Thursday training, with another update to be provided here once confirmed.
