Our A Grade recorded their second win for the year in a hard fought victory over Westlands Utd.

👏👏👏

Highly entertaining game in the A grade.

Lül scored a brace with our new signing Harry getting on the score sheet again, with Alex also scoring as well as a screamer from Jamie.

Overall an outstanding game of team football and we continue to move forward with our progression to compete every week.

Our Reserves squad went down 2-1 and were unlucky not to get a result. Daiton scored for the second time this season.

Another great day for Whyalla Croatia SC.

Harry played for Elizabeth Grove SC with great success through the Junior ranks in Adelaide and has strong connections with us at Whyalla Croatia SC that paved an opportunity for him to help join a club rebuild.

Harry is hard working, good on the ball and is always positive…. he has all the attributes we are always looking for in players wanting to play for Whyalla Croatia SC.

We look forward to game day this weekend against Westlands Utd.

Westland Utd are calling Croatia Park home for this year and we welcome what will hopefully be another great game across both the Reserves and Seniors.

The pitch took a battering with the weather last weekend, and no matter how much work was put into it in the off season it’s looking like it’s had a hard weekend and needs a rest… that being said we’ll do our best to have it in better condition for this weekend… we have no doubt it’ll be a hard fought battle across both grades with two clubs both fighting for a result.

We’ll be doing all we can to be competitive across both grades and if deserving and daring enough, look to add to our points tally 🙏

No matter the result we’ll look to play exciting football and look forward to all supporters wanting to enjoy their Sunday arvo at Croatia Park!

Yesterday we took on Steel Utd at Croatia Park.

Whilst every player across both grades gave their all Steel Utd had too much quality and Croatia SC had a very hard day at the office.

We were scrambling with some numbers away for various reasons though even so Steel Utd showed what good football looks like and were by far the better side across both grades.

It’s clear Steel Utd are the real deal this year, in particular their A grade. Quality football 👏

We hope to put up better competition next time we play… 🙏

A huge shout out to all the Croatia players who showed up and continued showing that the club trajectory is moving in the right direction. Whilst the loss hurts anyone watching knows the effort is there and we will continue to improve.

Unfortunately the Veo wasn’t charged when given to us, so the camera action stops mid way through the second half of the A’s. Note to all clubs to make sure it’s charged before setting it up 🤦‍♂️

This week we welcome Steel Utd to Whyalla Croatia SC on Sunday.

We take on arguably the best team in the A Grade so far this Season who took out the Allan Walker Cup last weekend and are currently unbeaten in all games. Quality. Well done 👏

As always we face competition in both grades.

Steel Utd are currently the benchmark with quality all over the park.

Whyalla Croatia SC continue to improve week in week out and our expectation is we continue that development throughout the year. We continue to welcome new faces and players who want to embrace not just a club to play football (soccer) but a sense of belonging.

This week at Whyalla Croatia SC we celebrate National Women’s Football week!

Every club wouldn’t be where they are without the amazing Women involved in their clubs as either players, committee members, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and numerous other roles. Not to mention some of our amazing Juniors coming up through the ranks playing also.

We thank all the current and past Women at Whyalla Croatia SC and can never thank you enough for the amazing work you do to help keep our club alive!

In the past few years in particular this is especially true!

I’d also like to give a huge shout out to the past Women of Whyalla Croatia SC who worked so hard to help it become the previous powerhouse it was. I assure you that the club with the help of the current amazing Women we have are doing we all we can to bring the club back to success.

Here’s a few pics of some of the amazing Women we have in various roles at Whyalla Croatia SC currently. There are so many more and we will continue to thank them for their commitment not just this week but every week!

All 3 x have been through the good and bad at the club and it was brilliant seeing them get to play together!

All of the Warren family are a huge part of the fabric at Whyalla Croatia SC with their commitment and efforts so very much appreciated!
