The West Wyalong Girral Bulldogs are proud to announce Ryan Quade as our Senior Football Coach for the 2026 season 🔴🔵⚪️
A true Bulldog at heart, Ryan joined the club from Auskick at just 6 years old and played all his junior football right here with WWG, from Under 12s through to Under 17s. During that time, he earned multiple Best & Fairest and runner-up awards, led goal kicking honours as a junior, and represented at a number of elite levels including Northern Riverina, Riverina Schoolboys, MIA Broken Hill, and Southern NSW.
Following his junior career, Ryan went on to play senior football with Ganmain Grong Grong Matong across both First and Second Grade before continuing his football journey on the Gold Coast with the Robina Roos, Surfers Paradise Demons and Caloundra Panthers.
Away from the field, Ryan brings strong leadership experience, having worked closely with men’s leadership and mentoring groups, with a strong focus on personal growth, mental health and wellbeing through physical activity. He is passionate about developing people not only as footballers, but as individuals.
Returning home to coach the club that gave him his start was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up, “the opportunity being presented to coach was something that really excited me”. His vision is clear — to build a strong, inclusive club culture, create engagement across all levels, and ensure the Bulldogs continue to thrive from juniors right through to seniors.
We’re excited about what lies ahead under Ryan’s leadership and can’t wait to see him take the reins in 2026.
