Congratulations to our very own Werris Creek Magpies under 18s player, Tremayne Milgate, who has been chosen to represent NSW Clontarf Under 18s.

Tremayne has been a tremendous member of our 18s campaign. 2026 has been not only his debut season for the Magpies but has also had the honour of stepping up into first Grade with 2 appearances and 3 for our reserve Grade. Tremayne has also played in all our under 18s fixture games between all grades, scoring a total of 8 try’s.

Tremayne travelled down to Wollongong this week in what will be his consecutive year playing in the Clontarf interstate challenge. Last year, he wore the number 14 jersey as for his positional part in this year’s side it is yet to be finalised but in typical Tremayne Fashion, he is going to do a job! From last chatting with him he has been doing some work in the centres, but all will be finalised in tomorrow’s captains run.

Tremayne will be traveling in the early hours of the morning, Saturday the 1st of August, to be available at David Tylor Oval to take part in Old Boys Day, another example of his commitment.

Werris Creek Football Club and Old Boys would like to congratulate Tremayne on this achievement wishing him all the very best.
The interstate challenge will be the curtain raiser for the Dragons Vs Dolphins NRL Match played at WIN stadium 4:30pm, live streamed for free through Kayo Sports. It is a good coverage with commentary and can be viewed through the Link below.
