At Kulcha, we believe netball is about so much more than wins and losses. It’s about confidence, connection, belonging and growth!

As we head into another exciting round and prepare for another season of netball, here’s a gentle reminder that our tamariki are always listening. The words we choose from the sideline can build confidence, create joy, and help our players thrive.

Coach Tania and our KM KIWI U9s showed exactly what Kulcha is all about in their finals match against our mates from Corpus, coming away with a fantastic 8 - 4 win. 🏐🔥

After 14 weeks of hard work, learning, growth, and plenty of smiles, it all comes down to this.

Our Kulcha Manawa Kiwi U9s have earned their place in the FINALS and are ready for one more challenge as they take on Corpus tomorrow morning. 💜🧡

This group has shown incredible determination throughout the season, growing in confidence every week and representing our club with pride, passion, and sportsmanship under Coach Tania and Assistant Coach Kris!

No matter the result, we’re already so proud of what these young stars have achieved. Now it’s time to enjoy the moment, trust the process, and leave everything out on the court.

WHAT A WEEKEND! 🧡💜

From our Kulcha Manawa Open Day on Friday night through to PRIDE CUP 2026 yesterday, this weekend was a true reflection of everything our club stands for - community, culture, opportunity and netball.

To our incredible players, coaches, managers, volunteers, committee members, supporters and whānau, thank you for showing up, pitching in and making every moment count. ❤️

A huge congratulations to our PRIDE CUP whānau, KM ALL IN and KM SIX APPEAL, who represented our club with pride, passion and heart throughout the day. To finish as Runners-Up in both the 6s and 7s divisions is an achievement we are incredibly proud of. 🥈🏐

And a special shout out to our KM ALL IN whānau who took home the Best Dressed Team Award! 🔥✨ Bringing the vibes, the energy and the Kulcha spirit both on and off the court.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Aleisha and the team at Werribee Indoor Sports. Your support, hard work and commitment behind the scenes help create opportunities for our community to thrive. We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful to have you in our corner. 🧡

None of this happens without the countless hours of mahi from our committee, volunteers and club leaders who continue to build something special for our whānau and wider community.

Our ladies take the court for their final round robin clash, facing the competition’s table toppers, WV Stellars. A huge challenge awaits, but this group has shown all season that they’re never afraid to take on the best.

With finals on the horizon, every quarter matters. Every contest matters. Every ball matters.

WHAT. A. WAY. TO. FINISH. 🙌🏽🔥

Our Kōka girls saved their very best performance for the final game of the season, producing a gritty, determined and team-first effort to edge out WV Ravens 18-17 in a nail-biting thriller!

With the scores locked in a fierce battle all game, it came down to the final 20 seconds. Ball possession was ours, the composure was there, and the girls calmly closed out the match to secure the win. 💪🏽🏐

This wasn’t just a victory on the scoreboard - it was a reflection of the growth, resilience and belief this team has built throughout their debut season. Every player stepped up when it mattered most, trusted one another, and left everything out on court.

To finish the season with a one-goal win in front of whānau and supporters is something these girls should be incredibly proud of. The smiles, the celebrations and the emotion after the final whistle said it all. ❤️

A huge thank you to our whānau, supporters, volunteers and everyone who has backed these girls throughout the season. Your encouragement has meant the world.
