Expressions of Interest are now open for players who wish to join Alamein FC in 2027.

As Victoria’s only all-female club offering a complete pathway from MiniRoos through to Senior NPLW football, everything we do is built around the development of female players.

That means an environment where girls and women are not one part of the program. They ARE the program. Our coaching, pathways, development opportunities and club culture are designed with female footballers at the centre.

We combine high standards and a genuine ambition to develop players with a positive, connected culture built on passion, unity and integrity.

If you’re looking for a club where you can be challenged, supported and proud to belong, we’d love to hear from you.

EOIs are now open for players of all ages, in both NPL and community pathways.

ANNOUNCEMENT: A new chapter for Alamein football.

Amy Crawford will become Alamein FC’s Technical Director for the 2027 season, stepping away from her current role as U13 Head Coach, while continuing as NPLW Assistant Coach.

A Football Australia B Diploma coach and Coach Education Tutor, Amy brings experience across junior and senior football, coach development and the professional women’s game, including a coaching internship with Melbourne City FC’s A-League Women’s program.

Named Alamein FC Coach of the Year in 2025, Amy knows our club, our players and our culture. Now, she’ll take the lead in shaping the next phase of our football program.

Her vision is clear: a connected pathway from juniors to seniors, strong development for players and coaches, a recognisable Alamein football identity, and a high-performance environment with ambitious standards, without losing the culture that makes this club special.

The full story about Amy’s appointment will be shared in our Stories.

Keep an eye on our feed for news of more leadership coaching appointments in the coming days and weeks (teaser: we’re pleased to share that current TD Liam Kafka-Sweeney will remain at the club).

Welcome to the new role Amy! ❤️💙

💙❤️ What a way to finish the season at home! A 2-0 win for our Seniors, capped off with Anais Josefski ‘s goal that came bang on the final whistle.

Yesterday was a clean sweep for every Alamein NPL team, with the U13s, U15s, U17s, U20s and NPLW all bringing home wins in their respective matches.

Finals might have just slipped through our fingers this year, but we couldn’t be more proud of this finish and we’re already building even bigger and stronger for next Season. Watch this space.

It’s one of the biggest dangers to any professional athlete: concussions are always serious and need careful treatment.

Last night Andrew from our major sponsors Amcal Pharmacy came down to training to perform concussion pre-screening on our players. The screening is a way to establish a healthy baseline, so that if they’re unfortunate enough to have a knock to the head, the medicos can get a much more accurate reading of any damage and know how to respond.

Because humans are still growing and developing into our early 20s, Andrew recommends a yearly screen for most athletes. “Just like a yearly vaccination,” he explains.

Like many preventative measures, it’s one of those things we do that we think (and hope) won’t matter at the time, but if the worst happens, we’re so glad we’d taken the time (and “the time” is actually only about 10 minutes).

Nobody plans for a head knock but everyone who plays sport is vulnerable to it. The head health check is suitable for people aged 7 and up.

Head to our Stories for a link to Amcal Tooronga where you can book a head health check.
