A Tough Battle, But Plenty to Be Proud Of

The Mavericks Indoor Cricket Club went head-to-head with the Croydon Raiders in Game 2 of the Vic League on April 12th.

We put up a solid total of 98, but the Raiders came out strong, chasing down all four skins and finishing at 111, handing us a 7-point loss.

While the result didn’t go our way, there were still standout moments worth celebrating:

Ganish Gulati securing the Player of the match 👏🏾 and highest runs scored/strike rate across both sides.

🏆 MVP: – +23 contribution and a true all-round effort

🏏 Best Batsman: 27 runs at a fiery 192.86 strike rate

🎯 Best Bowler: 4 runs conceded, 2 wickets, and a ruthless +2 economy

Losses are part of the journey—and we take this one on the chin, regroup, and come back stronger. Big thanks to our supporters who continue to back us every game!

The Mavericks Indoor Cricket Club kicked off their journey in style with a WIN against the Renegades on April 5th, 2025 – and what a way to make our mark!

A massive shoutout to the team for showing heart, hustle, and hunger right from Game 1. Here are the standouts from our debut match:
