A good turnout of shooters attended the 12th Precision Rifle Practice held at Nioka on the weekend, with some travelling from as far as Sydney & the Central Coast.
Near perfect weather made for comfortable shooting, so the focus went more towards the longer ranges.
A few stages were shot between 500m & 1000m, with the shortest being between 260 & 350ish meters, & the rest filling the gaps in the middle.
Saturday seen a few new barrel break-ins with load development, a good mix of ELR, & positional practice off the props.
There were a few mile impacts over the weekend, with a couple of the lads striking the small target, which is 400mm at 1628M. Just under quarter Mil.
Quite a few camped on the range.
We had good fires & good cook ups, with yarns, ales & tall tales. It was a bloody good weekend!
