Magic weekend coming up at Mangere Centre Park where the Northern Region Football Community Cup Finals are held once again.

Our own Mangere United Moaula is playing on Saturday at 10.30am against Ellerslie on Field 5.

This is a massive two days of community finals. It's a knockout!

Come along to support the competition. We will have three food stations, a fun zone and all the action in the lounge with the Warriors game on Saturday and the All Blacks game on Sunday.

See you at Centre Park, where else!

LATE POST - Saturday's 5/9/2026 Match Report
"Regional Plate Semi Final"
Mangere United Moaula clashed with Onehunga Rangers at Waikaraka Park.

Mangere United Moaula are through to the Regional Plate Section A final following a tense penalty shootout win against Onehunga Rangers at Waikaraka Park on Saturday. The boys went into half time ahead 2-1 but had to battle back in the second half and managed to score a late equaliser to tie up the score at 3-3. The penalty shootout ended 5-4 in our favour.

A big team effort and many thanks to the Moaula supporters for cheering us on.

Come support the boys at Mangere Centre Park this Saturday at 10.30am where they will take on Ellerslie BBs in the final. All knockout community finals will be played at Mangere.

Mangere United Moaula will be flying the Mangere flag representing our club and will aim to bring home some silverware.

Mangere United U13 Glitterati vs Waiuku AFC
FINAL score 3-0 to Mangere United

We wrapped up our final home game at Centre Park last Saturday, and what a match it was! Both teams brought their A-game, making for an intense and enjoyable watch. Waiuku's strong attacking performances pushed our team to work hard, but our Glitterati girls in the backline were solid as a rock, defending collectively and not giving their opponents an inch in the first half.

At halftime, everyone got a chance to shine, and it was amazing to see the talent on display. As coaches, we're beaming with pride at how well our young players work together, creating a positive impact on and off the field. Our goal at the start of the season was to focus on development, not just winning, and it's been incredible to see our players thrive.

A huge thank you to all the parents, caregivers, loved ones, and supporters who've been with us every step of the way, rain or shine. We're excited to see our girls continue to grow and develop their skills, and we're proud of their confidence and strength on the field. We are proud of them

This year, Miriama my assistant coach and I had the honor of coaching and mentoring this talented team. Our focus was on helping them become the best versions of themselves, both as individuals and as football players. We've witnessed remarkable progress and growth, and it's clear that these young athletes have the heart and courage to excel in the game of football

The Perfect Finish to an Incredible Season!
On Saturday the U-12 Jordan faced off against a strong Otahuhu side on their final game of the winter season. The match kicked off as a physical, hard-fought arm wrestle, with both teams playing at maximum intensity and trading goal-scoring opportunities.

Halfway through the first half, the U-12s successfully adjusted their tactics, shifting the momentum and creating chance after chance. The breakthrough finally arrived when our clinical defense forced a turnover, quickly launching a rapid counter-attack through the midfield. With Otahuhu caught off guard, a brilliant through-ball found our striker, Daniel, who broke the deadlock to make it 1-0. Mangere didn't slow down, quickly striking again on another textbook counter-attack, with Daniel netting his second goal to give us a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.

During the break, the message from the coach was simple: "Keep going. It's the last game of the season—let's finish on a high!"Otahuhu came out firing in the second half, creating multiple chances and turning up the pressure. While our defense stood tall and handled the wave of attacks, an unlucky miscommunication unfortunately gifted Otahuhu their first goal. Despite the setback, the team showed incredible resilience. They stayed strong, played as a unit, and locked down the game to secure a thrilling victory to close out the year.A special congratulations to Kesimia, who earned MVP honors for a stellar performance on the pitch!

MANGERE UNITED AFC * ASH U11 * GAME FINAL GAME UPDATE ⚽⚽⚽

We hosted our final homegame of the season yesterday, and unfortunately, the result did not go our way. However, the boys gave it their all and should be proud of their performance. We went head-to-head with Lightning U11 OMUF, who came away with a 4-3 victory.

A special mention to Jarius, who scored two goals, and Sukhcharan, who added one goal. Outstanding effort, boys!

Thank you to the entire team for an amazing season and an unforgettable journey. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment have been outstanding. It has been incredible to see how much each of you has improved throughout the season, both as players and as teammates. 👏👏👏

While the season may not have ended the way we hoped, you should all be proud of what you achieved. Keep working hard, keep believing in yourselves, and continue to enjoy the game. We could not be prouder of you all.

‼️ Late Match Report Post from some of our Juniors and Youth Teams on Saturday 5/9/2026

Mangere United Mountain League vs OM Red Devils

It was one of the best games we have played. We scored ALL 6 of the goals, score was 5-1 to Mangere, (we thought we would be generous.) They worked well as a team, regaining & retaining possession of the ball & notably, passing to each other. We had new players join us, so the second half of the game, we rolled thru our subs, to give everyone a go.
I believe the parents would agree with me, when I say "the team have done us proud, this entire season". A great way to wrap up our journey in the Mountain League, well done!

Player of the day was the whole team, Hurrah! 👍

Our Juniors and Youths team wrapped up their last training session for the season tonight, with a great attendance to boot!

What an amazing performance team - MANGERE UNITED U11ASH ⚽⚽⚽

Over the weekend we played against Papatoetoe UFC Red 11 and secured an impressive 7-2 victory. It was an outstanding performance from every player on the field. 👏👏👏👏 Goals - JARIUS 2 ! SONNY 2 ! ILA 2 ! PENITITO 1 !

Our front line, led by Jarius, Ila-Junior, Sonny, and Penitito, showed incredible teamwork, determination, and attacking strength throughout the match. At the back, Pragyan, Kushkarana, Sukcharan, and Michelle were solid in defense, working hard to protect our goal and support the team.

Not forgetting our amazing goalkeeper, Malson 👏👏👏
The energy and passion he brings to every game are true game changers. His communication, leadership, and constant encouragement from the back help keep the team focused and motivated throughout the match. Even though not everyone can hear him calling out, he never stops giving his best effort and pushing the team forward. 🙌

Everyone played their part, and the result reflects the effort, commitment, and teamwork shown by the entire squad. Excellent work, team. Keep it up, and let's finish the season strong, together. ⚽🏆
