Yesterday, four clubs came together to pay tribute to our teammate, Sam Burridge, who sadly passed away earlier this year, leaving behind his loving partner, baby daughter, family, and friends.

Together, we raised an incredible $7,000 to support Sam’s partner and daughter during this difficult time.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, attended, and contributed, and to the many volunteers from all four clubs who generously gave their time to make the day possible.

We hope this gesture reflects the impact Sam had on so many people and shows that his football family will continue to stand beside those he loved most.

To the Burridge family, please know that Sam remains in our thoughts, and his memory will always be part of our football community.

On Saturday 20th June at Koorana Reserve, we come together as a football family to honour and remember Sam Burridge — a teammate, a mate, a partner, a father, brother, and son, and someone who will always remain part of our game.

Sam’s passing has left his partner, his daughter, his family, his friends, and this entire football community carrying a deep loss. This day is for them.

👏All profits from the bar, canteen, raffles, and fundraising will go directly to Sam’s family.

Every contribution is a way of wrapping support around them when they need it most.

🚨 We are calling on our football family to stand together with our 4 clubs. Whether it’s donating, volunteering, contributing prizes, putting on food, or simply showing up and standing in support — it all matters.

OUR GIRLS ARE HOME! 🥳💙⚽️

After a series of away games, on the back of a few wins and a draw against Mandurah last week, the girls are climbing the ladder!!

We kick off at 1pm against East Perth.

Another home game for our boys this weekend.

Our first team will verse a tough opposition in Ellenbrook United F.C.

Make sure to head down to support! This game is part of the Sam Burridge memorial round, where Bassendean will also play their home fixture versus Armadale at our ground.

All funds raised on the day will be donated to Sam’s parter and baby girl. This includes all profit from bar, canteen, sausage sizzle, bake sale, raffles & silent auction

⚽️💙 Our first 6-week Academy block is complete! 💙⚽️

A huge congratulations to all of our players. It has been fantastic to see the progress made over the past six weeks through hard work, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

We've received some amazing feedback from both players and parents, and our coaches couldn't be prouder of the effort, attitude, and development shown by everyone involved. 💙

We'll now have a short break while the council completes repairs and improvements to our playing fields, but we'll be back before you know it!

Keep an eye out for enrolment information for our second 6-week Academy block, which will be opening soon.

⚽️ Home Game Location Changes ⚽️

Due to ongoing council works on our pitches, all MiniRoos (U8–U12) home games will be played at Warnbro Oval (Living Waters).

Squadi has been updated with the correct venue details.

These games will remain at Warnbro Oval for the next four weeks while our main pitch undergoes re-turfing works.

The majority of JCL and JDL home games will also be played at Warnbro Oval during this period, however a small number of fixtures will still be held on Pitch 2 at Koorana Reserve.
Please ensure you check Squadi before each game to confirm your venue.
