Leonidas Tackles the Big Issues

Year Eight student Leonidas has taken up the challenge of The Voice Competition, run by United Nations Youth Australia.

He discovered the competition after attending the United Nations Youth Leadership Summit in Sydney.

Each participant was asked to propose solutions to a significant global issue and then defend their ideas before a panel in an oral presentation.

Leonidas centred his discussion on the topic “Trusting media amid the rise of AI.”

Competing alongside six other participants in the regional finals, Leonidas emerged victorious and will now progress to the next stage, proudly representing Victoria at the national competition.
