πŸ“Š Clubs and volunteers across Northeast Victoria are already helping ensure the experiences of our region are represented in Regional Sport Victoria 2026 Regional Victorian Community Sport Census.

So far, we've heard from 35 clubs and volunteers from across Northeast Victoria, providing valuable insights into the opportunities, challenges, and support needs impacting community sport locally.

Some common themes are beginning to emerge:

βœ”οΈ Growing pressure on volunteer time and capacity
βœ”οΈ Increasing administrative and operational demands on clubs
βœ”οΈ A need for practical support that responds to local challenges

These insights will help inform future support, advocacy, and club development initiatives both within our region and across regional Victoria.

To provide more clubs and volunteers with the opportunity to participate, the Census has been extended by one week.

⏳ The survey will now close on Sunday 21 June.

If your club hasn't had the opportunity to contribute yet, now is the time.

🀝 We'd also love the support of our local partners, including Wodonga Council Rural City of Wangaratta Towong Shire Council Alpine Shire Council Indigo Shire Council and community stakeholders, in helping spread the word and ensuring clubs from across Northeast Victoria are represented.

🌟 Volunteer of the Week - Rd 5🌟

This week's Volunteer of the Week is the incredibly dedicated Kim Tight.

As both a football and netball mum, Kim is always willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed. Kim has been an active member of our Netball Sub-Committee, helped keep our Netball changerooms clean, and has taken on the huge task of organising netball dresses for every player from 9 & Unders right through to A Grade.

Kim's name is a familiar sight on our weekly rosters, regularly volunteering to umpire, score, or work in the canteen, and often taking on more than one role in a day. Her commitment doesn't stop there, with her name appearing on the majority of our remaining rosters for the season.

β€οΈπŸ’™

As a small token of our appreciation, Kim will receive a $50 voucher to Top of Town Take Away - Corryong.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to the Corryong Football Netball Club.

Clubs and volunteers across Northeast Victoria (LGAs of Alpine, Indigo, Towong, Wangaratta and Wodonga), this is the last call to complete the Club Census πŸ“£

Complete this short (15-minute) survey before it closes this Sunday 14th June.

This is your chance to tell us:
βœ”οΈ What’s working well in your club
βœ”οΈ The challenges you’re currently facing
βœ”οΈ The support that would make the biggest difference

Your input will directly inform how we, alongside Regional Sport Victoria and the Regional Sport Network, shape future programs, services, and advocacy to better support grassroots community sporting clubs across our region.

🎯 PLUS, clubs that take part will go into the draw to receive up to $2,500 in tailored support from their local Regional Sports Assembly, with one club selected in each participating region.
