✨ FULL CIRCLE ✨
The other day I came across my very first UTP post.
It made me smile.
Back then I thought fitness was what changed people’s lives.
Now I realise fitness was just the vehicle.
The real passion has always been helping people believe in themselves.
Over the last 12 months I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some pretty incredible kids.
Kids navigating behavioural challenges, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-doubt and trying to find where they fit in the world.
Every day I’m learning new tools to help them regulate, understand themselves and recognise their strengths.
And the more time I spend with them, the more I see pieces of myself.
Not because our stories are the same.
But because I know what it feels like to doubt yourself.
To feel overwhelmed.
To wonder if you’re enough.
My childhood was a bit bumpy. But I am lucky I had some amazing people who believed in me, supported me and helped shape who I am today.
I had a husband who loved me when I didn’t really know how to love myself.
And looking back now, I realise how much that mattered.
Because sometimes all it takes is one person.
One person who believes in you.
One person who reminds you of your strength when you’ve forgotten it yourself.
That’s why I love what I do.
Whether it’s a child learning to regulate their emotions or a woman learning to back herself again, the magic isn’t in the outcome.
It’s in watching someone realise they’re capable.
I think we all deserve a place where we feel seen.
A place where we can be ourselves.
A place where we know we belong.
And maybe that’s what I’ve been trying to create all along. 🖤💗
