🍁🏐 Our Thursday night competition is all about fun, fitness and friendship but as each season draws to a close, the top four teams in each section battle it out for bragging rights and the opportunity to take that teeny tiny trophy home to the pool room…🏆😜

📢 Hawks Netball Club are coming to WNA to run a couple of Netball Clinics these holidays. Hurry, spots are limited! 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

🤩 Clinics will be run by Hawks Netball VNL athletes.
🫶 Participants can nominate friends/teammates to be grouped together
🏐 Sessions will include skills & drills, fun & games, and match play
🤗 Have fun, learn new skills and make new friends!!

Times & Dates:
9.30am - 12.00pm | Ages 6 to 11 years
12.30pm - 3.00pm | Ages 12 to 15 years

Cost: $40 per person

You are invited to watch Whitehorse Ruby 17/1 take on Waverley 17/1 in the Section 1 Grand Final on Wednesday night.

It is going to be a super exciting game with some fantastic netball on display. Trust me, you do not want to miss this!

We would love to see as many Whitehorse players and their families there on the night as possible to show our girls that we are with them all the way.

📢 Don’t miss out on our Melbourne Mavericks Clinics these holidays!

📆 Date: Tuesday 7th July
⏰Time: 9AM – 11:30AM & 12.30PM - 3PM
📍Location : Sportlink, 2 Hanover Road, Vermont South
💰 Price: FREE thanks to Maccas!
🏐 Ability: No experience, state player and everyone in between, we cater for all!
🫶 Clinic Groupings: Participants can nominate friends/teammates to be grouped together

What your ticket includes:
🏐 2.5 Hour Make it as a Mav! Skills Clinic access
🏐 Netball drills and skill development coached by our Mavericks Coaches
🏐 Netball match play and games to showcase your new skills in a fun environment
🏐 The opportunity to meet our Mavericks' players - we will have Melbourne Mavericks players in attendance to support you and help you learn!

📌 Key things to remember:
🍌Food will not be provided - so please ensure participants bring their own for dedicated morning tea breaks.
🧊 Water! Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
🚑 Any medical equipment each participant may need - including medicine, EpiPens, inhalers etc.
👟 Comfortable footwear/activewear to participate in.
🙋‍♀️ Questions and merch! Our Mavericks players will be there to sign any pieces of merch you bring and answer any questions you may have!
🌦️ This clinic will be outdoors but undercover, so please prepare appropriately.

We have broken the clinic down into 2 x 2.5 hours sessions – so that more participants have the opportunity to attend!

🧐 When you arrive for your game tomorrow make sure you take a moment to cast your eye around the court. If you are lucky enough to find the face of a MAVS player, present it to Mission Control and you could find yourself at the game tomorrow night, watching them play! How awesome is that?!

The Woolworths Netball Grants Program supports grassroots netball clubs and associations across the country to improve the health and wellbeing of Aussie kids.

This year, grants of $2,000 will be awarded to 40 clubs across Australia. There will also be a massive $20,000 grant for the winner of the 2026 People’s Choice Prize, as well as 12 Free Fruit for Kids deliveries valued at $250 each or a $250 Woolworths Essentials e-Gift Card to purchase fruit for kids.

To be in the running, applicants need to explain how their club or association would use a grant to help improve the health and wellbeing of Aussie kids, in one or more of the following ways:

🏐 Sporting equipment / uniforms / improvements to facilities
🫶 Access to Woolworths’ NetSetGo program; and/or
🍌🥨🧃 Nutrition
