Congratulations to my beautiful Mat and Reformer girls( shout out to Tracey who couldn’t make it) These young mums have embarked on a huge learning journey, sometimes against some pretty tough obstacles including, juggling kids and work, finding new places to live, language barriers and more, all while doing a very Comprehensive Pilates course . This path has certainly had some challenges  for you all. So isn’t it nice when you can be at this point in the journey and look back and say

and I couldn’t be prouder.

I initially joined the Mat and Reformer certification with Sarah and Body Organics Education for my own learning and personal practice. The quality and style of delivery (both on-line and face-to-face) and the in-depth content encouraged and inspired me to complete the full Certification.

Sarah is an amazing and inspirational mentor and guide. Her instructional approach is very hands-on, personable and detailed. Throughout the course, she was always available for any clarifications or concerns. Her precision in teaching movement patterns, modifying for the individual is detailed and thorough. Developing and applying this in my own practice and in teaching others, under Sarah’s watchful eye, was the highlight of the course for me.

The on-line components of the course, delivered by Carla Mullins in her unique and entertaining style, are a comprehensive and valuable resource that I constantly refer back to. These modules, combined with the in-person tutorials and workshops with Sarah, ensured that I was equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently instruct and assist clients in small and large groups, as well as to the individual, providing modifications where required. The support I received from Sarah and BOE encouraged me to ask not only the ‘how to’, but the ‘why’ behind teaching movement patterns safely and effectively. And importantly, apply and ‘feel’ these principles and patterns in my own practice before I teach them to others.

I find I now constantly question and critically evaluate all movement patterns to refine my own practice and teaching. This is due to the expert and detailed knowledge shared via Sarah and Body Organics Education and their unique movement principles. Knowing the ‘why’ and ‘how can I improve/enhance’ the movement experience for the individual, and being able to apply this across all the Pilates repertoire and apparatus is invaluable.

I am so grateful that I chose BOE for my Pilates certification. It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with Sarah and the BOE team. I look forward to continuing my journey with them, knowing that they continue to refine and structure their courses, aligning with up-to-date research and technology.
