Moorooka Australian Football Club Welcome to the official page for the Moorooka Roosters AFC! We're a proud community Australian Rules Football club in Moorooka, Brisbane.

Follow us for all club news, match day info, results, events, player updates, and community highlights. Moorooka Australia Football Club (MAFC) is a 15 minute drive, seven kilometres, from Brisbane CBD. We are a diverse and multicultural club that is passionate about new people coming along and enjoying this great sport. Our club is very welcoming to new players and we field teams in Senior & Mast

ers Men’s, Senior & Masters Women’s and Inclusion competitions. Our club is focused on being community based where even the non-football people in our beautiful suburb can come and enjoy a nice afternoon. We have won four premierships in our 50-year history (1992, 1998, 2007, 2014, 2023 - Inclusion Competition) and look to strike a nice balance between being competitive on field and enjoy ourselves off field.

Moorooka AFC has been advised by Senior Women’s Head Coach Troy Reilly that he will be stepping away from the role ahead of the 2027 season.

The club would like to sincerely thank Troy for his hard work, commitment and leadership during his time at the helm of our Senior Women’s program. Alongside his assistants Fred and Brenton, Troy’s passion for women’s football and dedication to the playing group has been evident throughout the season.

Troy has played an important role in shaping the team and helping build a strong foundation for future success, and we’re incredibly grateful for the time and effort he has invested in the program.

We wish Troy and his family all the very best for whatever the future holds and hope to continue seeing him around the club, supporting a team he has had such a significant hand in developing.
