Today, I got to experience how a simple act of kindness can stir so many emotions — but if I had to choose just one word, it would be happiness.

Thank you to Tweed Valley Rollers for this beautiful and generous gesture. Knowing I am being thought of means more than I can truly put into words. It gave me the space to pause, reflect, and simply sit in that feeling.

My happiness tank is not just full — it’s overflowing. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and care have touched me deeply, and I am so grateful.

Life truly is like a box of chocolates — full of unexpected moments, and today was one of the sweetest.

Thank you — this meant more than you will ever know.

Hello Skaters, the time has come for me after so many years to call it a day.
In light of this I would like to thank each and everyone of yo amazing, fun, courageous kind and fun humans for all the fun times.
I can't pick a single moment, they all are equally important to me, and I want you all to know the memories I have and thank goodness for FB I have so many wonderful memories.
It has taken me a while to get to this point, but here I am courageously bowing out.

Thank you Team Australia for courageously making a difference!

Team Australia has chosen to not sing to our official anthem, instead we have chosen to sing to ‘I Am Australian’ with lyrics in Pitjantjatjara language.

The words were translated by Caroline Windy and Robert Borgas, with 90 singers performing at Simpsons Gap on Arrernte Country, including singers from the Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir.

This decision reflects our acknowledgment of the deep and painful history of colonisation and its ongoing impacts on First Nations peoples. We recognise that the official anthem does not represent all Australians — especially those whose land was never ceded.

As a team, we are committed to using our platform to honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, amplify First Nations voices, and work toward a more inclusive and just future.

We recognise our privilege and carry the responsibility to be part of positive change — both on and off the track.

This decision also reflects the deep multiculturalism in our country that is much better represented by our chosen song.

We are one, but we are many.

Australia is stolen land, sovereignty was never ceded.
