Life lately has been intense, immersive and all about connection through nature.

Grief is teaching me to tap back into my intuition and follow the things that feel true and good, but not just good, expansive and nurturing and necessary.

A lot of people talk about grief making them feel like a whole new person. In the beginning it did feel that way, but now I’m realising that I’m actually discovering who I truly am, I’m dropping any mask that I may have worn, I’m expressing and experiencing freely and openly and without constraints.

This can be beautiful, it’s also extremely painful, it’s also an understanding of who I am in isolation as opposed to relation to Damian.

Anyways, things are changing, I’m changing, what I want to do and how I want to do things is changing, which is scary and exciting at once.

One thing I know is that I’m going to be in nature as much as possible and I’m making plans to bring a few of you along too, so keep your eyes peeled.

Last night’s event for 21 Days to a Less Anxious You sold out completely, every single book included!

We talked somatics, psychology, the psychosocial pressures young people are navigating, and what it actually means to have access to all the information in the world but none of the tools to regulate your nervous system through it.

The questions were genuinely some of the best I’ve been asked. Thank you to everyone who came and waited to chat.

This past week has been a whirlwind and I wouldn’t change it for the world ❤️

> chatted with on Today Extra
> got trapped in the laneway NEXT to my book launch event 😂
> had the most beautiful event having in depth conversations with some beautiful humans
> spoke with Hamish MacDonald on 🤯
> made my debut 💥
> turned 33 🎉

Now this is all definitely a highlight reel of the week!

Not pictured here are the toddler tantrums and also my heart literally breaking every time I have to leave her for work. And also being away from my husband for the longest period of time in over 7 years has been super challenging.

But I’m here for the full experience of life, and I’m also aware of how privileged I am to be having these experiences and hold deep gratitude for those who have made this possible ❤️

WHAT! 21 Days to a Less Anxious YOU is landing on shelves TODAY 🤯💥

Last night I just sat on the floor when everyone else was in bed and held my book and just took a moment to reflect on the past year.

Writing this book came at the most challenging point in my life to date. My husband's brain tumour had progressed and he was losing his movement, we went overseas for treatment, things didn't go to plan, we almost lost him and I had to go through a very real grieving process of life in general.

Throw in a toddler to the mix and.. chaos 😅

But writing became my ritual, and also my reminder of who I am doing this for. Not just for my family, but for all of the beautiful humans who deserve to LIVE their lives, not just exist in it.

It seems cliched to write, but it's the truth. And what is also true is that writing the techniques in this book was also a reminder to myself of the resources that I have to carry me through the hard and sometimes tragic and traumatising experiences in life.

I’m rambling now, and I wish I had a better photo of me holding this book up proudly with my smile beaming across my face, but I truly hope that this book gives you even just one resource that allows you to feel like you are competent, wise and resourced to move through challenges.

Your brain is constantly making predictions based on your past experiences, scanning for threat before it's even happens.

If your personal experiences taught your nervous system that the world wasn't safe, that pattern stays because it was built to protect you

It runs whether you want it to or not.

This is one of the first things I share with clients, because it reframes everything. You're not broken. You're not weak. Your brain is just working from an old map.
