As we enter our third season, we’re incredibly proud of the strong foundations we’ve built both on and off the pitch.
What started as a new club has grown into a welcoming football community, with 83 players already part of AYFC - and we’re excited to welcome even more players and families for 2027! ⚽
Our focus is simple:

🏆 OUR 2027 PATHWAY
For 2027, AYFC will continue developing our junior pathway through:
🔹 Football SA MiniRoos - U6 to U11
🔹 Youth State League - U12 to U14
We will be opening teams from U6 through to U14.
⚠️ Please note: AYFC will not be fielding U15 or U16 teams in 2027. Our aim is to grow sustainably and ensure we have the right coaching, player numbers and structures before progressively expanding our pathway through to U16 in future seasons.

⚽ U9 & U10 Girls: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
⚽ U14: 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM

⚽ U6 & U7: 8:45 AM – 9:45 AM
⚽ U8: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
⚽ U9: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
⚽ U10: 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM
⚽ U12: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
⚽ U13: 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM

🧤 U12–U14 Goalkeepers: 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM
👉 Players in age groups with multiple trial sessions are strongly encouraged to attend both sessions.
🏅 SELECTION & TEAM PLACEMENT
While we aim to accommodate as many players as possible, final team selections will depend on team numbers and suitable coaches being available.
Where there are more players than available positions, selection will be at the discretion of the AYFC coaches and committee.
Selection considerations will include:

👨👩👧👦 Consideration for players with siblings registering with AYFC
Following trials, families will be notified of their placement via email as soon as possible.
Once a player receives confirmation, families will have three days to accept the position and pay the required non-refundable deposit (half-season fee) to secure their child’s place.
We apologise for the short timeframe provided for confirmation. We understand that three days is a relatively short period. However, this process helps us finalise teams, coaching arrangements and player numbers efficiently, while also avoiding holding positions for players who may be considering or registering with multiple clubs.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this process. Our goal is to provide certainty for both families and AYFC and ensure we can finalise our teams and coaching structures as quickly and fairly as possible.
If confirmation and payment are not received within the three-day period, AYFC reserves the right to offer the position to another player.
