People often think they come to Reformer Pilates to get stronger.

And while that happens, it's usually not why they stay.

They stay because for one hour, nobody needs anything from them.

No lunches to pack.
No emails to answer.
No appointments to remember.
No problems to solve.

Just movement.
Breath.
Space.

An hour to reconnect with themselves.

That's why women often leave feeling lighter, calmer and more like themselves.

Not because they burned calories.

Because they remembered they matter too. 💛

✨ What do you love most about your hour on the Reformer?

Women aren't burning out because they're weak.

We're burning out because we're capable.

We hold everything together.
We remember the appointments.
We support everyone else.
We keep going long after we're tired.

And because we can carry it all, we often do.

But strength isn't measured by how much you can hold.

Sometimes strength looks like asking for support.
Creating space for yourself.
Saying yes to your own wellbeing before you reach breaking point.

Just because you can do everything doesn't mean you should have to.

✨ What has being "the strong one" cost you?

Winter isn't the problem.

When the weather cools down, many women stop moving, stop connecting and slowly drift away from the routines that help them feel like themselves.

It's not the season that leaves us feeling flat.

It's the disconnection.

This winter, instead of doing more, focus on staying connected to the things that support your wellbeing.

✨ What is one thing you'll keep doing for yourself this winter?

The most interesting part of this story isn't the 10kg.

It's what happened before it.

This client came to me because her hips were causing her problems.

Movement was uncomfortable.
Daily life was becoming harder.
Her body wasn't giving her the freedom she wanted.

Like many women, she wasn't lazy.

She was limited.

There's a difference.

So instead of focusing on weight loss, we focused on helping her move with less pain.

Twice a week.
45 minutes at a time.

Slowly her body began to trust movement again.

Her hips improved.

Her confidence improved.

Her energy improved.

And because she could move more comfortably outside of class, she naturally became more active in everyday life.

Then one day she told me she'd lost 10kg.

The fitness industry often tells women they need to shrink themselves to feel better.

But what if feeling better comes first?

What if the answer isn't more punishment?

What if it's more support?

Sometimes women don't need another diet.

They need a body that feels safe, capable and strong enough to participate in life again.

That's what "Returning to Yourself" looks like.

🤍

Most women don't walk through my studio wanting stronger abs.

They come because they're tired.

Tired of carrying everything.

Tired of putting themselves at the bottom of the list.

Tired of feeling disconnected from the woman they used to be.

And something beautiful happens.

Not overnight.

Not through punishment.

Not through pushing harder.

But through creating space.

Space to move.

Space to breathe.

Space to hear themselves again.

The women who stay with us often tell me the same thing:

"I feel more like myself again."

And that's what matters most.

Because movement isn't just about building strength.

Sometimes it's about remembering who you are beneath all the roles you carry.

✨ What would returning to yourself look like right now?

You don't always need more motivation.

Sometimes you need less noise.

Last night wasn't about fixing anyone.

It wasn't about self-improvement.

It wasn't about becoming a better version of yourself.

It was simply a room full of women giving themselves permission to stop carrying the world for a couple of hours.

And perhaps that's why they keep returning.

Because peace isn't something we achieve.

It's something we remember.

Women carry so much tension they forget what relaxed feels like.

Not just physically… emotionally too.

Protecting.
Pushing through.
Holding everything together.
Running on stress for so long that the body forgets how to soften.

One of my beautiful clients recently said:
“I keep telling my body it can relax now. It doesn’t need to protect me anymore.”

And honestly… that stayed with me.

Because sometimes movement isn’t about punishment, calories or aesthetics.

Sometimes it’s about teaching the nervous system that it’s safe again.

Safe to breathe deeply.
Safe to move confidently.
Safe to let the shoulders drop.
Safe to stop bracing against life.

Over the past few weeks she’s become stronger, less exhausted and more connected to her body again.

Not through intensity.
Through support, awareness and consistency.

Some women don’t need harder workouts.

They need spaces where their body finally feels safe enough to let go 🤍

I received this message from a client and honestly… it stopped me in my tracks.

Sometimes we think our kids only notice the lunches packed, the pickups, the cleaning, the work, the rushing around.

But they notice us too.

They notice when we’re overwhelmed.
They notice when we’re disconnected from ourselves.
And they notice when we start feeling alive again.

This May challenge hasn’t just been about movement.

It’s been about women reconnecting to themselves through breath, strength, nervous system support, community and movement that actually feels good in their body.

Not punishment.
Not pressure.
Not “bounce back” culture.

Just women slowly finding themselves again.

And maybe… the people we love feel that shift before we do.

Last week of the challenge begins now 🤍

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to start — this is it.

20/05/2026

You do not need to earn rest.

So many women are moving through life permanently braced.

Tight hips.
Lower back pain.
Exhaustion.
Shallow breathing.

Not because they’re weak.
But because their nervous system has been carrying too much for too long.

This week inside the shala we’re focusing on nervous system support, tension release & movement that helps the body feel safe again 🦋

Our classes are never about punishment.

They’re about helping women reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels supportive, grounding and sustainable.

If your body has been whispering for you to slow down lately… this is your sign 💛

Some women come into the shala carrying stress in their hips, tension in their shoulders and the emotional weight of everyone around them.

And slowly… session by session… something changes.

They breathe deeper.
They laugh louder.
They move freer.
They stop feeling so alone.

This challenge isn’t about shrinking yourself.
It’s about reconnecting to yourself.

Over the next 2 weeks we’ll focus on:
✨ releasing built-up tension through hip mobility
✨ nervous system-safe movement
✨ breath connection
✨ strength that makes you feel capable again
✨ genuine community with women who simply get it

Some sessions will challenge you.
Your legs may shake.
Your hips may burn.
But every woman walks out taller, lighter and proud of what she just achieved.

And honestly?
The best part is the connection that happens inside these walls.

The laughs.
The conversations.
The “me too” moments.
The feeling of finally being seen.

The final 2 weeks of May begin tomorrow and there are still a few spots left for the women who are ready for their reset 🤍

DM me “MAY” if you want the details.
