Bring along your current rod, reel and tackle setup in the morning.

Quang will go through your equipment with you and explain:

What's suitable and what isn't
Whether your rod and reel are matched correctly
Line and leader selection
Lure selection
Knots and rigging
What changes could improve your fishing

If you're just starting out or don't have the right equipment, we'll also help you choose the appropriate rods, reels, lures and tackle before we head out.

🕛 12:00 PM – Head to Manly

We'll then head out for actual land-based fishing demonstrations, putting what we've discussed in the shop into practice.

Learn how to read the area, where to cast, how to retrieve your lure, where fish are likely to hold and how to effectively work different types of lures.
