New manifest system update 📣

We’re switching over to DZNinja and we need you guys to help us out.

Over the coming weeks, we will be rolling out our new manifest system, DZ Ninja.

To use the new system, all jumpers will need to create an account and complete their profile. You need to enter all required information! Once set up, DZ Ninja will automatically sync relevant information with the APF database, helping streamline membership verification, licence checks, currency requirements, and other mandatory jumping checks.

To ensure a smooth transition, we will continue running Burble alongside DZ Ninja for the next month or so while we gradually roll everything across.

Any account funds currently held in Burble will be transferred to DZ Ninja during this transition period.

Important: If you have been using Burble as a digital logbook, please make copies or export any records you wish to keep. Unfortunately, logbook entries and related data will not transfer to DZ Ninja and will be permanently lost once the old system is retired.

Hey team, here’s an announcement regarding jump ticket pricing. Members would have received an email today.

To help offset ongoing increases in operational costs—including aircraft maintenance, fuel, insurance, equipment, staffing, and the introduction of our new manifest platform—there will be a jump ticket price adjustment from 1 June 2026.

The new jump ticket price will be $42 per jump.

This adjustment helps ensure we can continue providing safe, reliable operations, maintain our equipment and facilities, invest in staff training, and support the growth of our sport in North Queensland.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make these improvements. We are excited about what DZ Ninja will bring to the drop zone and look forward to another fantastic season of jumping with you all.

Recurrency Week 2026 is coming up, starting June 16th leading into our club weekend!
EVERYBODY licensed coming along through the week/weekend please register so we can accommodate accordingly!

CONGRATULATIONS to our fresh, new AFF instructors, ready to teach alongside our more experienced crew in our first AFF Course of the year, with novice jumpers coming back, and our FNFF hype fun jumpers!

With everybody registering we will know how to better resource the 6 days.

📣 Busy Bee Friday 15th 🐝

With our Skydive season officially about to begin it is time for our annual busy bee, running the Friday before our club weekend.

Every year we call on our awesome FNFF family to lend a hand and spruce up the dz for the jumping season.

If you've been to previous busy bees we like to go hard:
pressure wash the building
cut down our tropical overgrown garden
get on the roof to sort gutters
trailer dump runs
interior cleaning

If anyone can help with cleaning equipment please let us know beforehand.

Pressure cleaners, garden tools, trailer for rubbish.

All help is appreciated. Always fun to squeeze some jumps in on our breaks if we can too 😉
