Join us at Werribee Outdoor Pool or AquaPulse to learn about keeping yourself and others, safe around the water.

WynActive and Wyndham City Council have organised these sessions to give people with little or no swimming experience, the skills to enjoy the water safely.



Each 90 minute session begins with a presentation out of the water, followed by time in the pool. These sessions are designed for anyone aged 10 years and above.



The topics that will be covered in the session include:

· Out of Water:

§ Never swim alone

§ How to enter safely

§ What is a lifeguard

§ How to call for help

§ Don't drink and swim

§ WAW rules

§ Recognising people in trouble

§ Swim to your depth

§ Safety signs

· In Water:

§ How to float

§ Rescues

§ Entries

§ How to paddle/kick

§ Life Jackets

§ Calling for help



Thursday 13 February

10 to 11:30am

HI friends!

Can you please find this boy who is missing since yesterday. He left for school at 746am and hasn't returned home. His name is Krishank and he calls himself Krish.

He hasnt gone to school. He is year 11 student at Suzanne Cory High School.

He is 5 foot 10 inches. Fair complex and Wearing grey hoodie, black track pants, black shoes and black armani glasses.

Anyone who can find him please contact the Werribee police station om 9742 9444 or contact me on 0432726428/ 0431697720/0451280658.

The family is devastated and we are waiting for his safe return

Krish come back home. We want you to be safe pls come back my baby you know we can’t live without you, you are our life line. You know this house will come to stop still without you.
