What is a Calcutta?
A Calcutta is an auction where spectators bid on the competing teams. At the conclusion of the Three-Man Tournament on Sunday, when the champions are crowned, a portion of the Calcutta prize pool is shared among the owners of the winning team. It's a great way to get involved, support your favourite team, and have an extra reason to cheer throughout the entire weekend!

Aussie Derby Promotions is excited to announce another major Derby Racing event has been added to the calendar, with Gilgandra Speedway officially coming onboard to host the 2027 NSW Derby Racing Championship!

The best Derby Racers from across New South Wales will battle it out for State Championship glory in what promises to be one of the biggest Derby Racing events of the year.
