AGM 2026 | Last night we held our 61st Annual General Meeting for the Club.
Huge thanks to the members who came and supported your club. Your support, interest, curiosity and willingness to keep our club going strong is greatly appreciated.

Reminder: The Instructor Information session is tomorrow at 12 pm. Any members who are interested in knowing what is involved in becoming an instructor are encouraged to come.

We are hosting an information session for members to learn about the role of an instructor in the club. There is no obligation to become an instructor by attending this session, but we want to ensure that members understand what this entails if they are interested. Without instructors, we are unable to keep our doors open for our members, so we are asking members to come forward and show interest in what’s involved.

This session will talk you through the process of becoming an Instructor and the support the Chief Instructors provide. The current Chief Instructors for Faceting, Silversmithing and Lapidary will be there to answer any questions.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please see Russell. If you could RSVP for this so we have an indication of numbers attending that would be great.

There can never be too many instructors, but we can't afford to have no instructors, so please consider helping if you can.

Shout out to one of our young rockhounds, Harriette for just competing in the state championships and now qualified for the World Irish Dancing Championships for 2027 which will be in Belfast Ireland. 🇮🇪 All the best and congratulations Harriette.
