Development Squads for All Comers: Our development squads are open to all comers, where players of varying skill levels can learn and grow together. These squads focus on fundamental skill development, teamwork, and building a strong foundation for a successful netball journey. Performance Squads by Selection: Our performance squads are designed to take their skills to the next level. Entry into these squads is through a selection process, ensuring that we work with the most promising athletes in the region. These squads receive specialised coaching and access to a comprehensive suite of holistic services to enhance their overall athletic performance. Annual Tour: In term four each year we conduct a 6-week team program and tour to expose members of the program to the preparation and demands of the high performance environment and experience coaches and players from other areas. Strength and Conditioning: Performance squads will have exclusive access to cutting-edge strength and conditioning programs including group and individual gym access at North Queensland's ONLY specialist netball gym. Sports Science: We believe in data-driven training. Sports science services, such as performance analysis and fitness assessments, help athletes track progress and identify areas for improvement. Leadership, Mindset and Team Culture: Mental resilience is a crucial aspect of elite performance. We offer sessions to empower athletes to understand themselves, set goals, overcome challenges and foster a positive team culture. Nutrition, and Wellbeing: We understand that success on the court extends beyond skills and physicality. Our academy provides nutrition guidance and workshops, and wellbeing support to create well-rounded athletes. Complimenting Existing Pathways
Our academy is structured to work hand-in-hand with regional netball bodies, such as the Townsville City Netball Association Representative teams and performance program and the Netball Queensland pathway. By nurturing higher calibre athletes, we aim to strengthen and enrich the existing talent pool, ultimately benefitting the regional and state netball programs. Our Renowned Coaching Team
