We're looking forward to being part of the National Sports & Physical Activity Convention this year and working alongside the fantastic team at California Sports Surfaces.

It's always great to partner with organisations that genuinely understand the importance of creating spaces where everyone can participate, and we're excited to be sharing the court with Pickleball Australia and Netball Australia Victoria across the two days.

For us, it's another opportunity to showcase adaptive sport, connect with the wider sport and recreation sector, and have conversations about what inclusion can look like when it's done well.

If you're attending NSC, come and say hello. We'd love to share what we're doing at Freedom Sports Foundation, hear about your work, and explore ways we can create more opportunities for people with disability to participate in sport and active recreation.

See you in Melbourne on 1–2 July.

Australia's biggest sporting convention is just around the corner, and as always, we'll be there!

We’ve been a mainstay at the National Sports & Physical Activity Convention for many years, and this year we're showing up bigger than ever. Expect a custom multisport activation court, with live demonstrations from Pickleball Australia Association, Netball Victoria and the Freedom Sports Foundation, plus an action-packed pro pickleball tournament. Our team will be on the floor every day, ready to answer your questions and show our surfaces in action.

It’ll be a packed program of interactive showcases, keynotes and workshops. Come find us at Stand #436 at the Melbourne Convention Centre from 1-2 July.

Register now and we’ll see you there: https://nationalsportsconvention.com.au/registration-2/

No One Achieves Alone EOFY 2026

When Freedom Sports Foundation was established, it was built on a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to participate, belong and thrive.

Today, through inclusive sport, school programs, community activations and lived-experience education, we've seen thousands of young people discover confidence, connection and possibility.

We've watched children try wheelchair sport for the first time.

We've seen perspectives change in classrooms, communities and workplaces.

And we've seen what happens when barriers are removed and opportunities are created.

As we approach the end of the financial year, we're launching our No One Achieves Alone EOFY Appeal 2026.

Every donation helps us:
🏉 Deliver inclusive sport programs
🏫 Reach more schools and communities
♿ Purchase and maintain adaptive sports equipment
🤝 Create opportunities for children and young people living with disability to participate, belong and thrive

Freedom Sports Foundation is proud to be a DGR-endorsed charity, meaning donations over $2 are tax deductible.

But this appeal isn't really about tax.

It's about giving more children the chance to:
✨ See what's possible
✨ Believe in themselves
✨ Dream bigger
✨ Achieve more

If our mission resonates with you, your family, your organisation or your business, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support.
Because no one achieves alone.

From Vision to Impact: Freedom Sports Foundation 2025

Today, we are proud to share the inaugural Freedom Sports Foundation 2025 Annual Report. What began as a conversation in 2024 between people who believed sport should be accessible to everyone has grown into a national charity creating opportunities for children, young people and adults living with disability across Victoria, and now Australia.

Over the past 12 months we have delivered inclusive sport programs, expanded our disability inclusion education initiatives, welcomed new partners, supported more participants and continued breaking down barriers to participation. But this report is about far more than programs and partnerships.

It's about the young person who discovered confidence for the first time in a sports chair or playing an adaptive sport.

It's about the family who found a community that understands.

It's about the volunteers, supporters and partners who have backed our vision and helped turn ideas into impact.

As a Foundation founded by people with lived experience, we know inclusion isn't something that happens by accident. It happens when people choose to act.

To everyone who has supported Freedom Sports Foundation from our begining in 2024 through to our most awesome first full year, 2025, thank you.

We invite you to read our 2025 Annual Report and see what we've achieved together, and more importantly, what is possible for the future.

See. Believe. Dream. Achieve.
