Cold day out at Warwick yesterday with over 200 competitors, and unfortunately the rain cut the night short so we only managed 3 runs overall. 🚗

Zoe and Bronte had a great day with clean, consistent runs down the track all day. Melissa's car was all over the place but managed a 0.03 light! Allison had a great day and topped it off by taking out Powder Puff! 🏆

Despite the weather, the Jannusch Family Racing team had a great day at the track! Bring on the next meet!! 🏁😄

This weekend we headed to Benaraby for round 2 of the Young Guns Series. Was a roller coaster ride of emotions, that’s for sure.

Friday night testing went well with low 12s from Bronte and Zoe was back to go slow mode running 13s.

Saturday qualifying started out well with a 12.01 from Bronte and Zoe doing her thing. But unfortunately after the 3 qualifiers we had a visit from IHRA putting Bronte on the trailer for going too quick. Tears, anger, frustration followed but with some support from some fellow racers she managed to come back out to support her sister. We also had Chase join our crew as he suffered the same fate. An awesome help.

Zoe run her 3 rounds of racing with some consistent runs. Thinking we were done for the day we had the surprise call for Zoe to line up for the final. After another conversation with IHRA and the tower, we were assured it was correct and she lined up against Neelah Paul. Zoe left first with Neelah cutting a 0.005 light chasing which would have won most racers, but car issues left Zoe with the win.

So proud of how Zoe handled the day. She’s just happy to race, win or lose. But the win did make her usual smile just that bit bigger ❤️

Next meet will be back to Warwick on May 16 and put the cars back to the regular tunes and the return of 11 second Zoe.

A great weekend in Roma at Easter in the country. Both juniors participated in the street parade Saturday. Great seeing all the kids smiling and pointing with plenty of ohhs and ahhhs.
Saturday arvo was qualifying with Zoe cutting her best ever light with a 0.009.

Sunday bought on one more qualifier, the cars (or maybe the drivers from chocolate) were all over the place. But we picked some numbers and dialled in.

Zoe went winless for the weekend, but wasn’t for the lack of trying
Bronte went 2 from three, narrowly missing the final by 0.03 of a second. But was over the moon winning best reaction time in round 3 thanks to NAM Racing. She was also presented with her 2025 tack championship trophy from Ironbark secretary Heather.
Melissa won 2 from 3, best meet results yet.
Allison shone again, taking out the winners trophy in street.

Thanks to Ironbark Raceway and all the junior families for such a fun weekend at the track.

Will cars serviced, they are back in the trailer ready for Round 2 is the junior series at Benaraby this weekend. Travelling and racing, what better way to spend school holidays

Someone is over the moon. Good job Bronte. Thanks NAM Racing

A bit added incentive for the junior racers in round 3 of racing thanks to NAM Racing. Congratulations to Bronte Jannusch for the best reaction time is round 3, closely followed by James Schofield for 2nd best.
Big thank you to Ricky putting it up.

Dear Little Girl Who Races,

Some people will see a little girl in a big helmet and think you don’t belong there.

They’ll say the track is too rough.
The engines are too loud.
And the competition is too tough.

But what they don’t understand…

Is that heart doesn’t have an age.
And courage doesn’t care if you’re a boy or a girl.

Every time you pull onto that track you’re proving something.

That little girls can be tough.
That determination beats doubt.
And that dreams don’t have limits.

Keep tightening those gloves.
Keep chasing that checkered flag.
Keep showing the world exactly what a little girl with a big dream can do.
