Pret’s All Stars is a memorial knockout team formed in honour of Preston John Weatherall-Grimshaw, who sadly lost his battle with mental health on 15 April, 2024 at the age of 22.

A proud Kamilaroi and Bidjara man, Preston had deep connections to Cunnamulla, St George, and Toowoomba, and a strong passion for rugby league, playing for teams including Valley Roosters, Highfields Eagles and the Newtown Blue Bags.

Pret’s All Stars will play in the Toowoomba Warriors Reconciliation Carnival at Jack Martin Centre on the 31st of January, 2026.🏈

The team is made up of his friends and family and aims to honour his legacy while promoting mental health awareness and wellbeing in the community.

The team is reaching out to the community for donations for items such as football’s, gazebos, water bottle holders, fuel cards and other supplies for the team on the day.

Pret’s All Stars appreciate any support, whether it be a donation or just a hand.

🩵💛The Pret’s All Stars Toowoomba Knockout Team🩵💛

The Boys took on Jerome Joel Leedy Memorial (the winners of the knockout) and unfortunately lost, however, it was an amazing experience for our boys, some being their first knockout and we appreciate the passion and level of footy JJL performed. The experience and atmosphere was amazing.

We want to thank our Sponsors: Sam's Meat Masters, Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety, Miles Accomodation Services, Hungry Jack’s and personal donaters for their generous support and time. We wouldn’t be able to take the field without you!
