The month of June signals the first trip for the "June Dory" Award for the Longest fish caught in June.

8 members travelled to Jumpinpin Bar and camped at Tipplers.
All members caught fish from Whiting, Squire, Bream, Tailor and Flathead.

Tony Jannusch landed a nice 57cm flattie only to be pipped by Graham Dickinson catching a 58 cm.

Conditions were cold but the daytime temps were ok. Nothing like a good fire on a winters night.

Members travelled to Torbul for the first Salt trip of the Season. Fish didn't play the game so much and a few showers were about. Otherwise a good trip was had.

14 Members of the Southern Cross Fishing Club Inc travelled to Lake Coolmunda Caravan Park to fish Coolmunda Dam. Conditions were near on perfect and made for great camping Lakeside.

The fishing proved tough with number of solid yellas caught. The numbers also included Silver Perch and an undersize cod was caught and released.

Southern Cross Fishing Club Inc travelled to Lake Leslie for the March trip. We had 16 members attend, some only travelled for the day and others camped at Lake Leslie Tourist Park.
Windy conditions proved to be a little tough, fish were tight lipped however Chris Bell was lucky to catch a 82cm Cod.

Sharyn Byrne caught a couple of nice Cod on Tomcat Lures even though they were undersized.
Stephen Tomlinson had a few good yellas in the bag whilst using his lures. A couple of others were caught but it was Len Osborn that took out the best Yella. Len takes home the Bob- in for this trip.

Great camping around the fire once again thankyou to Thommo for the shared caramel tart.
