Running a race team takes a village, and we couldn't have tackled the Townsville 500 without some incredible local support keeping DHR - David Hender Racing - TCM (DHR) moving off the track!
We want to send a huge shout-out and thank you to Dan at DC Services Townsville. Dan generously provided our team with a vital pit crew ute for the entire weekend of racing. Having a reliable vehicle to shuttle the crew, gear, and spares around the track is a massive game-changer, and the legendary team at DC Services absolutely looked after us! 🚚💨
An equally massive thank you goes out to Jeff Cooper. Jeff did an unbelievable job behind the scenes organizing the support utes for the Touring Car Masters (TCM) pit crews, ensuring everyone had the wheels they needed. He didn't just stop there—he also coordinated returning them all safely to the vehicle owners after the event, on top of specifically locking in the DC Services ute for the David Hender race team.Legends like Dan and Jeff are what makes the motorsport community so special. We truly appreciate the support, gents! 🙏🏆

Concrete walls no second chances ,any mistake costs you

However we had a great weekend . No damage and the car ran like a clock.
As usuall the team did an amazing job making changes and keeping car ready to race .

We scored 2nd in pro-am and 6th outright . Happy with that

Race 1 started p12 lost a couple in wild start but got them back turn 3 . Ran same position all race until the last lap . Bu**er but ended up finishing 12th
