It’s beginning to look a lot like an Airshow!

Display aircraft have started arriving including the Paul Bennet Airshows Avenger and this magnificent Mustang owned by the Eastgate family and based at Essendon.

The Tocumwal Historic Aerodrome is looking picture perfect ahead of this Sunday's Tocumwal Airshow.

A huge shout out to the team at Berrigan Shire Council who have done an awesome job of preparing the aerodrome for the event.

You'll have front row seats to all the action with the spectator area set up in the middle of the aerodrome with unobstructed views of the flying displays. There's not a lot of shade out there, so make sure you Slip, Slop, Slap and Slide as the forecast is for a warm and sunny day.

Who wants more V-12 action? Yep, us too!
Operated in Australia by the U.S. Army Air Corps and Royal Australian Air Force, the P-40 Kittyhawk was critical to Australia's defence during World War 2.
Number 7 Operational Training Unit, located at Tocumwal during WW2, operated the P-40 Kittyhawk for Fighter Affiliation training with the B-24 Liberator crews. We're honoured to see the P-40 Kitthyawk return to Tocumwal to showcase our local wartime history and heritage.

Today, Australia will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War.
At the 2023 Tocumwal Airshow, we will commemorate the service and sacrifice of those who served in Vietnam with flying displays by three aircraft that served during that conflict.
