What a normal day on my plate will look like whilst in a deficit phase.

Breakfast: Bagel with avocado, ricotta and hame
Lunch: Pesto chicken wrap
Dinner: Sang Choy Bow
Snacks: Fibre 1 bar, wicked sister pudding and a mandarin.

I am someone who will either;
1. Eat the same meal so much to the point I hate it or
2. Eat something different every single day.

How often do we see content on social media or have we heard from someone that we should put others before ourselves? I know that I grew up being told that because then I wouldn't be selfish and it would make me a nice person.
That's not true, you are not selfish if you are putting your mental health first. Sure - there could be moments where you truly are just ONLY considering yourself in a circumstance that affects other people too. Yes, that can be seen selfish. But do not be selfless, where you put others needs before your own often to your own detriment.
Learn to say no, learn to set boundaries and look after yourself for yourself because honey, no one else is going to look after you. Only you can do that! ♥

In light of Mental Health Awareness Day on Monday of this week, I thought I'd share this with you all.

Always remember that the way you look, or your physical health, is not the only aspect of health we should be working on. How you feel on the inside is super important, if you don't feel good about yourself on the inside, no amount of weight loss or change to your physical appearance is going to magically fix that.

Fix the issues within. There are plenty of people out there to support you. Getting help is never an issue. It's the best thing you could ever do for yourself. You are not weak to get support, you're actually extremely strong. Make sure you have a good group of people around you who will support you.
