🏆💙 Kiama Koori Cup 2026 💗⚡️

What an amazing Sunday for our Thunder family! 🏐

Coach Felicity put together two teams to represent us at the Kiama Koori Cup, and what a day they had! The teams had an absolute blast, showed incredible determination and team spirit — and to top it all off, came home as winners! 🏆🙌

It was fantastic to see our players come together, stepping out of their usual teams and working alongside teammates they don’t always get the opportunity to play with. They embraced the challenge, supported each other and showed what can happen when we come together as one club. 💙💗

The spirit, determination and sense of community throughout the carnival made it such a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to all our players and a massive thank you to Coach Felicity for bringing the teams together. We’re so proud of you all! ⚡️🏐💗

Tomorrow, WNA will be observing a minute’s silence prior to the 10:00am and 1:00pm games in memory of Lily Hooper. 🖤

Players and officials are welcome to wear black armbands if they wish, as a mark of respect and remembrance.

Our thoughts are with Lily’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. 🖤

🚨 DUTY DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🏐⚡

Thirlmere Thunder has Duty Day this Saturday 22nd August! 💙💗

🔥 WE NEED:

* 2 people on BBQ
* 1 person in the Canteen
* Helpers MUST be 16 years or older

We are offering payment of $30 per hour for all helpers in Canteen and on BBQ ....

This is a great opportunity to earn some extra money while supporting our club! You can also put your hand up for more than one shift.

⏰ SHIFT TIMES:

🏐 8:00am – 9:45am — U9’s & U7’s
🏐 9:45am – 11:15am — U11’s & U8’s
🏐 11:15am – 12:45pm — U12’s & U13’s
🏐 12:45pm – 2:15pm — U15’s & Opens
🏐 2:15pm – 3:00pm — U16’s

Paid positions will be filled in the order people contact us, so don’t miss out on your preferred time slot!

🛠️ DUTY DAY JOBS

7:45am: Set up post pads, rubbish bins & BBQ. Check toilets and keep toilet paper filled.

3:30pm: Pack away post pads and bins at the end of the day and sweep out toilets.
