🐂💙 Thargo Bulls Season Update 💙🐂

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing referee shortage across South-West Queensland, tomorrow’s game in Cunnamulla has been cancelled.

While it’s not how we wanted to finish the season, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the Thargo Bulls during our comeback year. To our players, volunteers, committee members, coach, sponsors and supporters – thank you for helping bring the Bulls back after 24 years.

A special thank you to Cunnamulla and Charleville for providing competition throughout the season and helping keep country rugby league alive.

We’re incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to host a home game this year and run out in front of our community once again. 🏡❤️

Thank you all for being part of the journey. We can’t wait to see you next year as we come back bigger and better!

Rugby league officially roared back to life in the far south-west on Saturday, with the Thargo Bulls hosting senior football in Thargomindah for the first time in 24 years – and the tiny outback town delivered a day to remember.

What a day for the club, the town and everyone who has supported the return of the Thargo Bulls after 24 years. The effort, pride and passion shown out there today was something special.

A massive thank you to our supporters, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who came along and got behind us. The atmosphere at home was unreal!

A big thank you as well to the Cunnamulla Rams and Charleville Comets for the great competition and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Still absolutely buzzing from that win. UP THE BULLS 💙💛
