Been abit quiet in the burnout scene lately but slowly things are coming together for the new build.
Bit of time spent screwing together a stock bottom end Au intech with a few supporting mods to have a play with Methanol.

* el/au tickford head with bigger valves and decked for higher comp

* stage 5 cam and matching springs/retainers fromCrow Cams Australia Pty Ltd

* Aussiespeed Performance Products 4 barrel manifold

* ICE Ignition full ignition system

* pacemaker 4480 extractors

Had a play with the die grinder and opened up the rocker cover breathers and oil returns to sump in the block and head.

Now to have a crack at modifying my own rockers to adjustable solid lifters and build my own power glide with most parts sourced from Shotgun Performance Transmission & Race Components😎

Doing things on a tight budget takes time but I’m sure I’ll be satisfied with the combo when it all comes together.🤙

🏁💨 BORN TO BURN: While most teenagers are still learning to drive, ’s Laine Smallmon is already beating some of the best burnout drivers in ! 👊

The 17-year-old stunned a field of more than 100 competitors at last weekend’s Gazzanats in Darwin to win the Naturally Aspirated class and earn a coveted wildcard to Summernats 2027, putting him one step closer to lining up alongside the country’s elite.

It was an unforgettable weekend for the Smallmon family, with father Chris also claiming second place in the fiercely contested Blown class against some of the sport’s biggest names.

After a 7,500-kilometre round trip across the country, the pair returned home with two authentic crocodile head trophies, two podium finishes & one incredible story!
