Today I’d like to celebrate Wendy, a truly special member of the TBPTS community.
At 83 years old, Wendy continues to show up twice a week to my StrongR for Women classes, walks regularly, and completes additional exercises at home to help keep herself strong, fit and active.
What inspires me most about Wendy isn’t her age it’s the way she chooses to live her life. She prioritises her health, embraces an active lifestyle, and continues to challenge the idea of what ageing should look like.
But Wendy’s impact extends far beyond the gym. She regularly travels to Indonesia, where she volunteers her time helping children and families through community, education and support initiatives. Her kindness, generosity and willingness to give back to others are truly inspiring.
Wendy is a wonderful reminder that staying active isn’t just about ourselves, it’s about maintaining the strength, energy and independence to keep doing the things we love and making a difference in the lives of others.
Thank you, Wendy, for being such a valued part of our community. Your dedication, positivity and compassion inspire everyone around you, and I’m so proud to be part of your journey. 🩷
