Amanda didn't think she could lift 10kg weight plates 6months ago. Last night she lifted my Brand Spankin New 17.5kg dumbbells and absolutely smashed it!

She's feeling so much stronger and energised and this is just the beginning.

Nobody’s brave enough to say this, but I will:

It's a little controversial.

👉Being consistent and training effectively are two very different things.💥

I know people who have been "consistent" for years.

✅️They show up.
✅️Do the workout.
✅️Tick the box.

Yet they're still frustrated when they look in the mirror.

Still wondering why their clothes don't fit differently.

Still waiting to feel stronger, more confident and more comfortable in their own skin at birthdays, the beach, on holiday, around their partner whatever it may be.

And honestly?

That's heartbreaking.

Effort should count for something.

The problem isn't that you're not trying.

You've just never been shown what effective actually looks like.

So you keep doing more.

More workouts.
More starts and stops.
More second guessing.

What's really needed is direction.

That's why I'm so particular about what we do in class.

❌️Nothing is random.
✅️There's a reason behind it.

I don't want people just showing up..

I want them feeling stronger.

I want them noticing their body responding.

I want them feeling good when they get dressed.

I want them walking into a room with confidence instead of wondering if anything is working.

Effort is one thing. But you also need:

✅️ the right environment,
✅️ the right guidance and
✅️enough consistency to actually let it work.

That's what we're building here in our group classes.

Life gets busy.

Work is full on.

The couch looks super tempting.

And it's easy to convince yourself you'll come next week instead.

But the funny thing is, people rarely regret showing up.

They leave feeling stronger, clearer, more energised, and more like themselves again.

You know what feels really good?

✨️Not being on a diet.
✨️Not smashing yourself to death in a workout.
✨️Not starting another Monday promising you'll be "better".

Feeling calm about your health.

Feeling strong in your body.

Getting dressed without trying on five outfits first.

Having energy left in the tank at the end of the day.

Feeling like yourself again.

I honestly think people believe they need to be more discipline. Do things better. Neaten up the diet and exercise and then it'll all work out.

Most of the time its not that at all.. it's actually that they need support.
A routine.
People in their corner.
A way of moving their body that actually fits their life and feels good.

Because your health shouldn't feel like another thing that's pushing you to the edge.

My days are full.

But they don't feel overwhelming.

They feel fulfilling.

And that's the difference.

The goal here isn't to make fitness and taking care of yourself feel harder.

The goal is to make taking care of yourself feel easier.

As you head into a new week, maybe that's the question to ask yourself:

What would help me feel more like me again? Start there ❤️

There. I said it.

I see so many people chasing that sore, exhausted feeling because it makes them feel like they've done enough.

Then a few weeks later they're asking themselves the same question:

"Why isn't this working yet?"

You aren't lazy. You're genuinely trying.

The problem is you're measuring progress by the wrong things.

The people getting the best results aren't always the sorest.

They're the ones who understand what their body actually needs to respond to the work they put in.

That's why I spend so much time helping people understand their bodies instead of just giving them another workout.

✅️Because feeling strong in your body again.
✅️Feeling energised in training.
✅️Feeling good in your clothes.
✅️Feeling like yourself again.
👉That's what we're really after.

And sometimes the thing holding you back isn't a lack of effort.

It's focusing on the wrong signals ❤️
