Presentation Night was a cracker.

Congratulations to winners of all the awards but special mention to our newest Life Members - Chris Skilton and Darren Hammond.

Both men are worthy recipients. They have been invaluable members of the Southies Family and we look forward to many years of their continued involvement as their kids rise through the ranks too.

A special shout out to Chris who also won the Terry Psarakis Clubman of the Year Award - well deserved.

We also unveiled the ‘new look’ Tom Groth Award for Best Performance in a Grand Final. Tom was on hand to award the trophy’s to Logan Pike, Harry Hickey and Muhammad Faizan for their rousing efforts to win the 2nd GF Sheild.

Jackson McDonald won the Jeff Ajani Trophy for Player of the Year. He also won Bowler of the Year, 4th Grade bowling average and aggregate - 38 wickets at 8.95, 4th Grade player of the year, took three 5 wicket hauls and played representative cricket for Tamworth, NICC and the Northern Inland Bolters.

Elijah Skilton won the Alan Clark Trophy for Cricketer of the year for excelling at all levels of cricket including Juniors, Seniors and Rep. in all forms of cricket this season Elijah scored over 1400 runs, averaged 54.7, score two centuries an nine 50s took 39 catches, 17 runouts and 30 stumpings.
