As the weather is warming up, we are happy to announce that we have placed our first order of Children's Cotton Training T-shirts.

Class sparring protective equipment and training equipment such as kick shields and targets can also be found at the FIT-TKD Online Shop.
Training T-shirts may be worn in class during the warmer months instead of the Dobok (Taekwondo Uniform Jacket).
We have ordered 40 T-shirts with Children's Sizes:

Another Great Turn Out for the Fit-For-It Taekwondo Academy - Walcha Branch this afternoon/evening. Pictured below is Walcha Junior Class with Instructor David and Red Belt Little Teacher Miss Mirridhi helping out with the Tiny Tee’s class and the Junior Class.
Classes are on at the Walcha Multi-Purpose Centre on Mondays, Tiny’s from 5:00pm, Juniors from 5:30pm and Seniors from 6:30pm.

**UPDATE**
The Fit-For-It Taekwondo Academy Competition Team competed in the Western Sydney Taekwondo Championships down in Parramatta today. We had eight competitors today being our biggest team to date. We had four novices and our two State Representatives for the upcoming Australian Taekwondo Nationals entered in two divisions each.
Our Final Medal Tally was:
• Gold: 🥇🥇
• Silver: 🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈
• Bronze 🥉🥉🥉
11 MEDALS: This was a great effort from all our team.
Many thanks to all the parents who came down to support their children today and also thank you to all the supporters that came along to see their Tamworth family competing. What a great Taekwondo community.
It’s great to get away and travel around to different places for tournaments. Three more weeks and we will be in Brisbane again for the Nationals this time with Harrison and Mirridhi.
Feeling Grateful and Loving this Taekwondo Lifestyle.

The Fit-For-It Taekwondo Academy Competition Team are competing at the Western Sydney Taekwondo Championships. This is our biggest team to date with two of our team mates entered into multiple divisions.
It’s lunchtime now and our Medal Tally is:
Gold: 1
Silver: 4
Bronze 2
We still have 3 fighters to compete for their medals after lunch.

***GREAT NEWS WALCHA BRANCH***
We just received another shipment of Taekwondo Uniforms. We have them sorted, named and packed with our club badges. We have 19 uniforms ready for Monday afternoon.
If you haven't sent your height measurements to Instructor David as yet, please email to [email protected] before Monday to ensure we can bring your uniform.
At present, we have 33 students signed up over the three classes, The Tiny Tees (K to Yr2), The Junior Class (Yr3 to Yr6) and the Senior Class (High School/Teens and Adults). I have seen some familiar faces from when I have run the Australian Taekwondo Kickstarters Program at St Patricks PS, Niangala PS and Woolbrook PS. Welcome back to classes. Great to see you wanted to continue your Taekwondo journey. And a Big Welcome to all the new faces that have come along to start their own Taekwondo journey.
If you enjoyed your class last Monday, please feel free to share the flyers below with your friends and be sure to bring a friend along next Monday.
I really enjoyed training the Walcha classes last Monday. All the children were really attentive and well behaved, and we have a really beautiful facility, The Walcha Multi Purpose Centre in the Walcha Central School.

“Friday Evening Training”
Harrison and Mirridhi traveled down to Sydney to attend the NSW State Team Training.
Many thanks to Global Martial Arts - Prestons HQ for hosting this state training.
Both Harrison and Mirridhi worked really hard and were drenched in sweat at the end of the session. Great effort to both.
* Next Sunday, 20 October we have the Western Sydney Taekwondo Championships.
* Then Friday 25 October we have another State Training.
* November 8, 9 & 10 we have the AUS-TKD Nationals in which Harrison and Mirridhi have both qualified for.

Today, Thursday 10 October, a bunch of students along with Instructor David and parents had a great time playing around at the Boggy ninja academy in Boggabri. There were heaps of great activities to test our abilities and strength with so that we can become Australia’s next Ninja Warrior. Many thanks to Cruze and the crew for providing instruction and encouragement to all the children. Can’t wait to get out there next time.
