We’re so looking forward to the BYOW seminar tonight with Grandmaster Geoff!

Bring in anything flexible from home and learn how to use this as a weapon. Think everyday items, items you carry in your pockets or school bags, things you might have on your desk. The more creative the better!

And just a reminder to bring in your IHA Passport for Grandmaster to sign if you are attending the seminar!

We had an ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC morning at Dee Why on Sunday at our annual Beach Training Day event! We had an excellent turnout with students waking up bright and early to hit the sand for a 7:30am start!

The morning started with a quick game of hockey for warmup before the actual class started. Initially, the sand was so cold we couldn’t feel our feet! By 8am the sun had heated up the sand and it didn’t take long before the sun warmed us up and we were sweating!

The tough class was followed by tyre pulling and battle ropes, a quick game of tags and then of course a swim, which included throws and falls in the surf. Training was followed by a delicious breakfast at Butterbox Cafe!
