Hi all thought I would jump on here and let you know what I’ve been up to lately.

For those asking I am still keeping my business running and look forward to organising some exciting things ahead for my Playfit community. For now it has been on hold as I’ve recently made the move over to Wellington to play in the ANZ championship with the

Although I’m not in Sydney atm I’d like to stay in touch with the Playfit fam by sharing my journey with you.

If I’m honest the move to New Zealand was something that scared me. Putting myself out of my comfort zone to not just move away from my family and friends but to live out of home for the first time, whilst playing for a new club in a different country.

However, since making the move to Wellington I’ve definitely found a second home. One I feel I belong. There is something about the people in this club that make you feel so welcomed and loved and I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to continue to play professional netball and to grow both as a player on the court and person off the court. So far I have loved every minute of this experience and it goes to show if something scares you it’s worth taking the risk.

So in saying that here are a few flicks of some content from the past few weeks in Wellington 💛

Our junior 9-12 and 13-16 program 🙌🏼

Congratulations girls on completing the 6 week clinic. It has been awesome to watch you all grow both on and off the netball court. Your attitude towards improving your netball skills and knowledge has been outstanding and you have done this all whilst having a laugh, encouraging others and creating new friendships 🥰

A big congrats to both of our prize winners Poppy (9-12) and Mia (13-16).

Poppy is new to netball and over the past 6 weeks she has been trying really hard to put into practice new skills and feedback and has always done it with a smile on her face.

Mia showed up to every session determined to get better and always gave 100% in everything we did.

Well done to all of the girls for making it such an enjoyable few weeks of netty 🩷

QUICK HANDS/AB WORKOUT 🙌🏼

Benefits of this drill:

➡️ Extends the players reach through a variety of passes

➡️ Encourages the player to pull the ball in quickly

➡️ With the players heels lifted off the ground it provides a great ab workout whilst also controlling the catch and delivering a good ball back to the passer.

Modification of drill:

➡️Players heels stay on the ground

Extension of drill:

➡️ Player catches and passes the ball back one handed on both their left and right hand

Give this one a go at your next training session 🤩
