For a long time, as a performer, I chased attention. I chased the applause.
And while applause can be uplifting, there’s a moment when needing it starts to control you.It hijacks your presence. It pulls you out of yourself.
That’s when I learned something important:strong performers don’t chase attention — they command the room.
Not by being louder. Not by doing more.
But by being grounded.Clear.Present.
When your energy shifts, the audience feels it.On stage, in conversations, and in life.
