Are you dealing with a pressure fighter?

Here are two ways Jane likes to shut it down.

1️⃣ As they march forward throwing punches, step back into southpaw and fire the left body kick straight into the ribs.

2️⃣ As they jab their way in, use the long guard to control the lead side, push the shoulder with your rear hand, cut the angle, and land the left body kick from the outside.

Pressure fighters want you backing up in a straight line.

These two simple adjustments let you create space, take the angle, and score on your terms.

Save this for your next sparring session.

Quick one from Andy and the coaching team 🚨

We’ve put all of our sparring etiquette videos into one place for you.

If you’re new to sparring and making the jump from Muaythai 4 Everyone classes, there’s no excuse not to know the expectations before you step in.

And for the old heads, consider it a refresher.

The goal isn’t to win sparring. The goal is to make your training partners better while getting better yourself.

We’ve got a lot of people preparing for fights right now. Let’s keep each other healthy, keep the egos in check, and keep the gym a place people actually want to train.

Iron sharpens iron.

See ya’ll in the gym let’s go! ❤️💪
