Runners take full responsibility for any injury or health condition sustained whilst participating. Volunteers are not medically tra
ined and are therefore not qualified to assess whether the participant is in appropriate physical condition to participate.
“Pain in the Domain” advises all Participants to seek medical advice prior to starting any exercise programme if they are in any doubt as to their ability to do so. Every runner attending “Pain in the Domain” must take full and complete responsibility for their own actions. If you have any medical conditions that could affect, do not participate. If you feel dizzy, faint or unwell it’s your responsibility to stop running. It’s your decision alone whether or not you are fit and able to run. If you are unsure consult your physician. We recommend that you can run at least 5k comfortably.
“Pain in the Domain” exists purely to offer an opportunity for like-minded runners to run together in a group and nothing more.
“Pain in the Domain” is co-ordinated by volunteers in their free time and these volunteers cannot accept any responsibility for any events that occurs. These volunteers may or may not have taken any training/coaching. All runners should consider “Pain in the Domain” as an informal gathering of people who will run together in a loosely structured format. The volunteer leading the session reserves the right to refuse to let you run with the group. The minimum age that we can accept is 18 unless occupied by an adult. Appropriate clothing and footwear for running must be worn.
“Pain in the Domain” may use your photographs to share on social media. If you do not wish for this to happen please notify a volunteer. Runners must at all times be courteous to other park users and keep clear of them when running. Runners must at all times be courteous to fellow runners. Runners must keep left wherever possible. Runners must at all times stay on the designated course. Runners must not run on the road, except when crossing the road. Runners must at all times avoid running through garden beds and must stay on the designated paths.
