📅 Friday 15th May – Trial Prep Training Day (Competitors only)

• Character Work (approx. 11am pending OB numbers)

🐾 Tracking commences 9am – Address TBA

🐕 BH/IBGH commences 3pm

Hosted by Ironside Dog Sports, this is set to be one of the BIGGEST IGP events Australia has ever seen.

Ironside Dog Sports is proud to announce that we will be hosting Australia’s premier Dog Sport event right here in Perth.

The 2026 Blackhound WDFA IGP National Championship is where precision meets power, and where the country’s elite dog-and-handler teams come together to compete at the highest level of the sport. Tracking, obedience, and character work will be pushed to the limits as athletes from across the nation battle for the ultimate title.

Over 4 action-packed days, spectators will witness:

Elite handlers

High-pressure championship runs

National pride on the field
