We might be so busy doing the tasks, the work and (let’s be honest) people pleasing, that we can ACTUALLY forget what we truly like and want in life 🧐

Between where you are now and where you want to go there is always a bridge. And a lot of times it might be unstable, shaky and scary 😟

But the only way to get to the life of your dreams is to go through this bridge.

This bridge might be:
✨ discovering and confronting your limiting beliefs
✨ having uncomfortable conversations with your partner, family or boss
✨ saying no to some things in your life to say yes to others
✨ resigning from a job you know is not right for you
✨ moving to another country
✨ doing a deep meditation/personal development retreat

Choices and free will ✨

We have many more choices in life than we realise:
✨ If it’s raining outside, we can choose to be sad and vent about it OR to put on a rainjacket on and enjoy a walk in the rain

✨ We can choose to continue working at a job that we dislike OR start exploring our true calling and talents and search for more aligned opportunities for us

✨We can choose to watch the news and get depressed because of everything happening in the world OR we can watch inspiring content and concentrate on our vision for the better world of the future and make tangible steps towards creating it

✨ We can choose to live the life like our parents and grandparents lived OR to follow our own higher knowing and create our own authentic path

✨ We can choose to figure it out and do it all ourselves OR we can ask for help and support

All of those are CHOICES even if we don’t consciously consider them as such. And the good news is - we absolutely CAN change what we are choosing in every moment of our life.

It’s not about “good” and “bad” choices, because they are different for everyone of us. It’s about realising our inherent FREE WILL to choose what’s in our highest good.

I was always fascinated by the extent to which our thoughts define our reality, and how much of our reality can be changed when we mindfully change our thoughts or rather instill more positive, kind and productive thoughts into our thinking.

This is by no means an easy practice and it is a life-long journey.

What I do when a negative thought comes into my mind? I notice it, say “ok, here we go again, negative thought!” And then I move my attention to think about something positive: the beauty of nature around me, how blessed I am, how grateful I am for all the abundance in my life, etc.

Even starting on this journey, and doing it once or twice a day creates amazing long term results ✨

Receiving answers - Part 2

In the previous post I talked about why we shouldn’t expect answers to most important questions in life to come to us momentarily.

Sometimes we should just sit with the question and create space for the answer to come. Creating space may look like:
✨meditation
✨physical exercise
✨free journaling (writing down whatever comes to mind)
✨mindful walk in nature…

Basically anything that will break usual patterns of thinking and will create inspiration and good vibes.

And then we can start listening to seemingly random but EXCITING and EXPANDING ideas that come to our mind! The ones that give us this good feeling “it would’ve been amazing if…” 🤔

And now we can give ourselves freedom to indulge in these expansive and exciting thoughts, but not brush them away because they are “too unrealistic” or too hard to implement.

It doesn’t always mean you have the final answer just now, but those good thoughts and ideas can create a CHANNEL of thoughts that will eventually lead to a very realistic and exciting answer ✨

Receiving answers ✨

In this very fast paced modern world, we tend to expect getting answers to all our questions momentarily.
But when we have big questions on our life, professional path or personal choices, it doesn’t always work.

Another approach is to formulate the question and then CREATE SPACE for the answer to come to us. It might mean finding ourselves sitting with the uncomfortable feeling of not knowing the answer for some time. Just being with this feeling and letting go of the desire to get an answer NOW is a good first step.

ONENESS ✨

“In the largest metaphysical spiritual sense, there are no “others”, there are only us, the singularity of us. If we understood that, if as a collective we decided to experience ourselves as merely individual elements of the same single thing (as the fingers of my hand are individual elements of the hand itself, which in turn is an individual expression of my body). If all of the human race saw themselves in that sense, I promise you - our collective experience would change dramatically…

We will see in a very direct way that what I do for you, I do for me. What I fail to do for you, I fail to do for me.

If I do not love you or treat you exactly in a way that I want you to love me or treat me, we are going to have some difficulties in certain aspects of our [collective] body.

So I have to treat this pinky finger with the same amount of love as I treat my thumb.
And I need to treat my hand with the same amount of love as I treat my face.
It doesn’t do me any good if I treat my face very nicely, and then bang my hand with a hammer. But that’s right now exactly what the human race is doing. “
