Hills I will die on as a mentor for high-performing women:

• Most women are not “too emotional”. They are chronically unsupported.

• You were praised for being easy to manage, not for being fully yourself.

• Being needed is not the same as being loved.

• High achievers often become addicted to proving their worth.

• You cannot outperform low self-worth forever.

• Your body knows long before your mind admits it.

• Guilt is not always a sign you are doing something wrong.

• Peace feels boring when your nervous system is addicted to chaos.

• Self-abandonment is still self-abandonment even when it looks productive.

• Some women stay busy because silence forces them to feel.

• You can be grateful for your life and still know something has to change.

• Your environment shapes your standards more than motivation does.

• Most women do not need more advice. They need honesty.

• Healing is not becoming passive. Sometimes healing is finally having standards.

• The life you want will require conversations you are avoiding.

ATTENTION MUMS!! 🤍

This is your reminder to ease up on the pressure you put on yourself.

Somewhere along the way, many women were taught that being a “good mum” meant carrying everything, fixing everything, anticipating everyone’s needs, and slowly disappearing in the process.

I don’t believe that anymore.

The happiest women I know are not the women doing the most.
They’re the women who learned how to come back home to themselves.

Truthfully?
I had to learn how to create my own happiness.
Because relying on everyone else to change, notice, appreciate, help, or magically make life feel lighter is a losing game.

Here are my 3 rules now:

1. Never expect people to read your mind.
Speak up. Clearly. Calmly. Honestly.
Unspoken expectations create silent resentment.

2. Stop postponing your life.
You do not need to earn rest, joy, friendship, fitness, peace, or fulfilment.
Your life is not a reward waiting at the finish line.

3. Protect your peace fiercely.
Your nervous system becomes the emotional climate of your home.
A regulated, fulfilled, grounded woman changes everything around her.

And maybe this next part will hit hard…

Your children do not need a burnt out version of you who sacrificed herself for everyone else.
They need a mother who feels alive.
Present.
Connected.
Whole.

That is the example they’ll remember. 🤍
